As a Jesus follower, you are constantly engaged in spiritual warfare, so don’t be surprised by the fiery attacks on your mind by the devil. One of the ways he likes to war against us, is through our minds. He knows if he can get in our heads he can cause us to lose our focus & intimacy with God. The devil hates & despises God ,therefor he hates & despises you because you are in Christ. He wants nothing more than to destroy your intimacy with God. However ,even in this warfare there is no need to get discouraged or loose your peace & joy.
When you find yourself in the thick of battle & your struggling to find God & His peace, don’t let discouragement set in. All you have to do is call upon the Name of Jesus! Say,” Jesus, Help Me!” In an instant, the battle becomes His, all you have to do is simply trust in Him as He fights for you. When His Name is properly used, it has unlimited power to bless & protect you. For when we draw near to Him as we utter His Name, He will give us the most inexpressible joy & victory over those fiery attacks on our minds.
